II) The outcome achieved by the end of the year 2006-07
1. Academic activities were planned and conducted as per the semester scheme of the university
2. Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities were reorganized to match the demands of modern age and to fulfill the requirements of NAAC. [Department organsation chart enclosed]. New activities like ‘AD-MAD SHOW’, ‘Swatantrya Geet’ a program of Patriotic Songs on the Independence Day and ‘PRATIBHA SHODA’ to scout for new talents in debate competition were initiated.
3.Rules and Regulations were redesigned to bring self-discipline in the student community and enlighten them of their duties and responsibilities in the campus to maintain decency and decorum in campus.
4.Regular seminars were undertaken by the students in all the subjects under the guidance of their teachers to make learning process more effective and enjoyable and there by increase the interest level of students.
5.Teachers and students have started using the modern equipments in Teaching and Learning process. They are encouraged to make use of OHP / LCD to improve the presentation skills.
6.State level Symposium: A state level symposium of the students for the students by the students was conducted on the subject ‘Role of Foreign Capital in India’ was conducted on 20th January 2007. The programme was co-sponsored by DIC [District Industries Center, Gadag and SBI, Betageri]
