iv.Arts Circle has organized various singing and dance competitions. Students were sent to participate in Youth Festivals. College team has actively participated and won the prizes in Skit, Mime, Group Dance, and Rangoli competitions. A new programme called ‘Swatantrya Geet’ was initiated on 15th August to create the spirit of patriotism among youth.
v.Ladies association is conducting many programs and activities particularly aimed at drawing the attention of the society towards the problems faced by women and empowering the girls to face the challenges.
vi.Tours and Excursion Committee is supervising and organizing educational and cultural tours.
2) New academic programmes initiated at UG/PG:
a. A certificate programme in the development of Analytical and communication skills was conducted for a period of 3 months to enhance the skills of students
b. A certificate programme, Tally Accounting Package, was conducted for B.Com Final year students, jointly by the Department of Commerce and Department of Computer Science, to acquaint them with Computerized Accounting System.
3) Innovations in curriculum design and transaction:
Dr. M. L. Guledgudd participated in the workshop organized by Department of Commerce, KUD in framing syllabus for V & VI Semester of B. Com. Course.
4) Interdisciplinary programmes started:
a. Dept. of English and Dept. of Commerce have jointly conducted a programme in the development of language and communication skills
b. The Dept. of Commerce and the Dept. of Computer Science collaborated in providing special coaching to the B.Com III students in computerized accounting viz. Tally software.
c. Department of Economics along with Department of Commerce
