Projects Genesis training membership facility was offered to the students at a fees of Rs 1000. 68 with discounts in deserving cases students have participated a special programme proficiently. The students who passed B.Com., were given a Computer Proficiency certificate for being qualified in Tally Course.
20 Formation of S.W.E.C :-
Student representatives for SWEC (Student Welfare Executive Committee) were elected for the year 2006-07. Representatives from degree classes were assigned responsibilities of various departments. These representatives were selected on the basis of their merit in academic and also extra curricular activities.
21. Network of Students – Parents -Teachers:- PTA (Parents Teachers Association) meeting were held to evaluate the progress made by their wards and also problems if any, faced by them. Parents appreciated the efforts made by the college in maintaining standards both in education and career building of the students.
22.Linkage with Academic and other bodies:- Professional bodies like SICR, ICFAI, Tally Academy, Chamber of Commerce, Gadag, District Industries Center Gadag, etc., regularly interact with the college. These prfessional bodies conducted workshops and lectures to motivate the students to enter professional fields.
SIRC – Hubli Chapter:
SIRC (South Indian Regional Chapter), of Chartered Accountants Association conducted one day workshop on to popularize C.A. foundation course among our college students.
ICFAI :
ICFAI College of Management, Hubli, organized one day workshop in association with our college to motivate students to join MBA course.
Tally Academy : Tally Computers Academy, Gadag branch is working with our college Computer Department to teach tally to B.Com. Students.
